Getting Hooked On To Art

We came down onto the mat when Mr Somervile called us. He showed us where we go to see the picasso art videos so we had some ideas during art. We all had some time looking at those videos.

It was so amazing and it also looked 3D as we had watched them. One of them were the best using spray cans and a lot of interesting colours were there. I just love the finishing off. The finishing off looked like a giant big moon.

This other one had a million pictures of Picasso's art. They were so interesting with the colors and a lot of nice things they had as well and the videos were really stunning and awesome too.

I really want to learn heaps of things from art and the drawing because that's one of my hobbies. And I was a so excited because we were learning about Art Alive.

Art Alive

The most exciting part of school is doing art! This team we were learning about art alive. We all love to draw things and paint and do all sort of thing with them. Coloring with lots of colorful colour and with heaps of laughter.

I have done some patterns from Fatu Feu'u. He is a very cool artist it has so much details in it. I like his female and male patten. This term I want to do heaps of art and learn heaps of things from it.

The Time Had Come

When the bell started ringing, everyone had started running into their class when we went through this hallway. When we got into class we finally saw the time when room sixteen would go swimming at the Pt England Aquatic Centre. When we went to school on monday we were really anxious because we wanted to go swimming straight away!

When Mr S told us were going swimming at 2:15 to 2:45 it took us five minutes to walk there. While we took our first step inside the pools it smelt like chlorine and chemicals. We went inside the changing rooms and quickly got changed and went to our pool. We first had a test to know which group we are in.

Me and Giselle were in number one because i'm a little short to go in the middle part... and I couldn't really swim! We had a lot of fun going there because the instructors name is Ben. It was the best!

My Little Cute And Smart Brother!

As you know I have a little baby brother hes 1 year old. His birthday is on the 17 July. And when he was a little baby he was so cute! But now he's a bit fat then what he was. He's more chubby and he’s so smart. He’s so interested in electrical things especially like iPod and ipads and phone’s and laptops. Whenever i’m on the ipod he always takes it off me and goes plays talking Tom Cat And listen to Elmo song. And whenever he’s sleepy he makes us make him a bottle of milo. But he is so cute!

Pirate Story

Hello guess who I am. I have black hair and I have a parrot beside me. Do you know who I am? I'm a pirate, My name is Tinder and my noisy parrots name is Loud. We have worked about ten years to make a pirate boat and we have had a lot of practicing with paper and pencil.

One day while Tinder was out of water, while working hours and hours she saw a bottle named (shrink water). Her was so anxious because it said shrink water. He knew it may happened but he said a prayer. As the first bit of shrink water went in his mouth he was satisfied that he wasn’t shrieked.

I more year later the most beautiful, gorges pirate ship was made. And as she made it he was all good with his boat. She was a great person to ask help because she traveled around the whole earth and still surviving.

Seeing Dr Ben Carson

You know what we have meet Dr Ben Carson! Along with hundred people in a event centre. There where different people from other schools and some important people. We all tried our best to use the Point England Way manners.

Henry entertained us with heaps of things. Suddenly the light went off.. There went the Duffy song. Randomly everyone started singing so I sang along.
Henry presented Dr Ben Carson, with heaps of exitingnes. As he took his first step the place was all noisy and people started whistling. There were heaps of screaming.

I felt really Bord half time. when the show was finished we were given a juice and a apple. I really enjoyed going to the event and learning more about Ben Carson

What Happening in Your Weekends?

This morning when my mobile alarm went ringing in my ear. I quickly grabbed and turned it off.

anxiously I looked at my cloak and it was just 6:00. I was very sleepy so I slept in one hour.

When my mum woke me up at 7:00. I quickly got ready and went upstairs with my brother.
To have warm Milo. I drank it all and went downstairs.

I turned on the TV. Waiting for the right time to go school. I was very excited. I smiled at the clock and rushed to go school. So maybe you could tell me what happened in your weekend?

Best Thing I Did In The Weekends

The best thing I've done in the weekends is going on maths whizz. Because you can earn more credits and you can get better at maths whizz. First when you start you have no credits.

The maths games are like having some question like, + or - or maybe x and more things. Sometimes I reach my target and so I have to do replay. In replay you have to beat you personal best or beat your freinds time. or you can challenge other people in the world.

If you have enough credits you can buy pets. I have two pets in my bedroom. Well I have 871 credits right now. But we nomarly get 10 question or more up to 20. And we even can add buddes.

Aussie Rule

Have you ever played a famous Australian game. We had been learning the skills required to play Aussie rule.

The ball we use in Aussie rules is called a kiwi kick ball. It is a very essential and special piece of equipment to Aussie Rules. There is laces stitched on to the ball, and there is different colours on the ball.

Well one of our lesson was the bounce pass. It was a bit awkward because when I bounced the ball it was unpredictable where the ball will go. It was unexpected how to hit the ball to make a bounce pass.

My favourite thing in Aussie rule was the chest pass.

Cross Country Run

The day had come to do cross country. We had to run in the forest. It looked extremely dangerous and scary. It was windy and it looked like it was going to rain but it didn't.

It was hard to run because there were streaks and old steps. There was a smelly muddy creek and broken branches, there were zigzagging tracks and there was broken branches and old bridges.

I was nervous and scared that it might be scary. I jogged for the first bit, but I walked half way and then ran and ran. I was huffing and puffing at the end. I was so exited when I crossed the cross country finish line.

Mesmerising Australia

Its only a short hop skip and a jump across the Tasman Sea to Australia, but there is a world of difference in what you will find there.

People in Australia are multi-cultural. The first people in Australia were the Aborigine people, who were the first people to touch the land of Australia. They are Australia’s important people.

Australia's unique animal's are Koala’s, Kangaroo’s and Platypuses. These animals are native to Australia. The unique animals are very lucky to be in Australia.

Australia's Climate is predominantly arid which means it’s hot and dry. The coast in Australia is hot and very warm, it is also humid.

So if your fortunate enough to make the journey, you will need to allow plenty of time to explore all that Australia has to offer.

Badminton Writing

I never knew what badminton was. Listening to Mr Marks say you kids have badminton after morning tea, I was shocked and worried that it would be a running game. After morning tea we had to line up and wait for Mr Marks to come. When Mr Marks came we went to the hall and sat down. The badminton coach called Lorene was telling us the rules about badminton.

First we had to get a racket and we had to take a shuttle. We had to hit the shuttle with the racket. I kept on dropping the shuttle. Next we had to get a partner and one person had to get the cone, and the other person has to have a racket and a shuttle. The first person hits the shuttle to us and we have to catch the shuttle with the cone. Then we swap around. There is another skill that we have to hit it two times and we have to hit it under our legs.

The the other time we went to badminton we had 3 small courts and 1 big court. We had 6 people in our group. That was Mya, Tashell, Lisa, Taamai, Doris and me. There are 4 people in front of the net. If they miss it, it is another persons turn. When it was my turn I had to keep my eye on shuttle in order to hit it. It was so much fun playing Badminton.
